Bug with dimensions

Hi all

If you use the unconstrained dimension tool in chain mode, select the first two points, and draw the dimension, unless the next point selected is in line with the first two, the length setting in the OIP displays a differnt figure than the dimension.

Does that make sense?

What platform/OS and VW version are you using?

I did the following in VW 11:

Drew 3 identical horizontally abutting rectangles with the last one vertically offset an arbitrary distance. I then rotated the group 10? and, using the unconstrained chain dimension tool, ran a dimension string so the last one was to a point not in line with the previous two.

The dimensions read corrctly. Did I test it correctly?

THe dimensions read correctly, but the Length field in the OIP will show the wrong length fot the last dimension

In my test, the length displays the length of the first set of dimensions.
