Create Similar with Spotlight Instrument

The Create Similar command seems to not work properly on Spotlight Instruments. It seems to invoke the correct tool, but inserts the last instrument that was added.  The Help files say it is meant to insert the instrument that it was clicked on. It seems that it is failing to make the "clicked-on" symbol active.

I am unable to replicate this in a new file, can you send me that test VWX? It might have something to do with the instruments being attached already, my testing was simple instruments on their own.

EDIT: But I totally see some similar existing bugs with some strangeness to their descriptions, I'll make sure this has been filed properly.

Got some super fast feedback on this: 

This is indeed a bug, Engineering is actively working on a better system that allows items that use the Resource Selector to work more intelligently with Create Similar as well as Eyedropper.

Not sure, this kind of thing could go either way, I'll see if they know for sure.

Thanks - it would be good have a fix at the very least. That kind of functionality saves thousands of mouse-clicks when creating a lighting plot.
