IF Statement at database header

Recommended Posts

I am not certain I understand what you want to do. Do you already have a database? If so, then a formula similar to =if(C='Area-Exempt',' ',Area) should give you a column that will have the area listed for every object in the database except those that Iare in the exempt class where the value will be blank.

Or do you need to create a database? In which case you would just set up your criteria to include a Class Is not 'Area-Exempt' option. This will give you a database of objects that are not in the exempt class and you can add a formula to get the area in whatever column you want.

If this has not been clear enough, please ask again.
