Jibbe D'hondt
Hi there! So I want to draw my lines next to an object but it won't show the dots on the corners like it used to do some weeks ago. Suddenly, it changed it all and wouldn't show them anymore and as result you can't draw good shapes. Also my layers are always in 1 layers, and the default class and layers are on (Class= 9, layers= 5) just like other students of my class and it works for them?! Even when I'm on it or select a cube for example. Here's the problem in pictures. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 21, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 21, 2017 Enable the second snapping option in the snapping palette directly below your Attributes palette. This controls object snapping. Quote Link to comment

It is right below your attributes palette where it says snapping. You may want to stretch that palette a little to show other snapping options. Edit: Jim just showed you where to find it. I also usually recommend keeping Snap to Intersection and Edge Snapping enabled for this type of drawing. Quote Link to comment
Jibbe D'hondt
It worked, thanks! Sorry I'm just a starting Architect student in college but never used it in high school Quote Link to comment
Art V
Given your name you might be from Belgium, if you are, are you aware there is also a Benelux Vectorworks forum at http://www.vectorworks-users.be/forums/ ? It might be useful too in case you have questions about local things. Quote Link to comment
