Wesley Burrows 100 Posted November 21, 2017 In a similar fashion to the way SP1 broke the truss tool for many people until a user preferences/folder delete/reset, it seems the softgoods tool has become the latest victim in SP2. The same fix for the truss tool worked for soft goods. FYI. Quote Share this post Link to post
Yordan Kostadinov 23 Posted November 22, 2017 Thanks for your report. We updated the installer to address this problem, It should get published really soon (Installer 3). Instead of the entire preferences folder you can delete only the RuntimeCache folder located in the Plug-ins user folder, that's what the updated installer does. Quote Share this post Link to post
robinson 1 Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) Had the same issue, trashing the RuntimeCache resolved it though. However, is the RuntimeCache needed as VW didn't rebuild this folder? Edited November 28, 2017 by robinson Quote Share this post Link to post

corbinhand 3 Posted December 2, 2017 I did... still not functioning. Also, re-ran the SP2 installer and still no luck. Quote Share this post Link to post

Close out of Vectorworks 2. Rename /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Vectorworks/2018 to something like /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Vectorworks/2018-OLD . (This will reset any user customizations to default. But you can copy workspaces, plugins etc back over from the 2018-OLD folder. 3. Relaunch Vectorworks and test.
