Thomas Wagensommerer
I never noticed that behavior before. I am aware of the setting for "Separate sheet views", but this should only apply to sheet layers. Quote Link to comment
0 markdd
Check this setting in Unified view options. Make sure that Centre View on Activated layer is unchecked. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Yes, that does not solve all problems with unwanted view changes but betters VW View Navigation experience by at least by 60%. While that option does not sound as bad if it would do what one would expect. Centering your Layers geometry in your View Window But it does not center your drawing in the View, literally it centers the View to the VW Origin or even Page Center Area. Which is very likely not where your geometry is. Edited November 9, 2017 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
0 Thomas Wagensommerer
Thank you very much for this tip. Interestingly "Centre View on Activated Layer" was unchecked as it should be. But switching it on an then off again solved the problem. Quote Link to comment
