simbob
Is it possible in VW to create a layer or class that does not print, like the Non-Plot layer in Autocad? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
VW does not have a setting to have layers or classes not print automatically. You can set the visibility of layers and classes to invisible to get them to not show and therefore not print. You could probably create a saved view (of if not a simple script) that would need to be selected (run) before you print to accomplish what you are looking for. Quote Link to comment
RickR
I use a 'nonplot' class as Pat mentions. The trick for me is to make sure it NEVER shows up in viewports (or even saved views.) Keeping it off except when needed does the job pretty well. If I need more than one, I just duplicate the existing class so it too doesn't get turned on by accident. Quote Link to comment
Boh
I also use several nonplot classes which I can toggle on or off. Before printing or publishing I run a saved view which turns them all off and all other classes on. Quote Link to comment
