Printable Area Not Found

scenicartisttheatre

Question

When exporting a PDF to be printed from VectorWorks, you have to move the "printable area" -- right click on the pan tool and us the move page tool. However, when I do that, the page square area does not show up. I have tried changing the active layer scale and the layer itself to find the area, but it is nowhere to be found. I've also tried closing and reopening the program (VectorWorks 2016). Has anyone had this problem before? How can it be corrected?

Thank you!

Normally it can be found by using View > Zoom > Fit to page, then slowly scrolling back to see where it is in relation to your model. If you do a fit to page and don't see the page area, make sure it's still enabled under File > Page Setup, Show Page Boundary near the bottom left. It'll be stacked behind any geometry you've added.

I did the latter, with the page boundary. Using the View>Zoom>Fit to page worked. Thank you so much!
