Change default Z click

I'm working in Spotlight inserting lighting symbols onto hang positions.  Hang positions are at 22' elevation.  Every light I insert goes to 0" elevation, then I have to change its Z value in OI palette.  Is there a way to change the default Z click?

Hi,

I believe this is being caused by your hanging position not being recognized as a 'Lighting Position'  After using the 'Lighting Pipe' tool you need to then covert that pipe or position in to a  'Lighting Position'  To do this:  Spotlight/Object Conversion/Convert to Light Position.

 

This should allow for the fixture to adhere to the pipe and get the z height information.  You can add the z height before or after the conversion process, through the Object Info. Palette/Shape tab.
