markdd
For those of use that use the Create Plot and Model View function in Spotlight (I do all the time) then in any rendered view, the light is only emitted from the viewport and not the definition layer from where it came. This is really, really useful. It means that I can visualise light coming from side lights without having to turn off the definition layer. Previously you had to turn off the definition layer in order to not see both sources of light. Thank-you for this improvement. Edit: Ignore the above! It was just wishful thinking!! Jiajing
Hello Markdd, I am using Create Plot and Model View function in Spotlight as well, so some reason, when I hang lights on definition layer, it doesn't show up on the model layer, do you know how to fix? Thank you! Quote Link to comment
markdd
Take a look at this video I made. It goes through all the steps and will hopefully iron out any problems you are having. 1 Quote Link to comment
