It seems like I can only have axis labels that relate to the "grid" and the "grid" is always on the layer/working plane. This results in X', Y' and Z' rather than native X, Y and Z axes, so when you change to front view VW is displaying Y' as up, when technically this is the Z axis. (Of course I'm really noticing this for the first time because the axis labels display has been uncoupled from the grid display for the first time in VW2018. I always have the grid turning off.)
