I am new to using lighting positions / hanging positions... My "problem" is that I lay out a 12 x 12 box truss using the auto connect option and leave it at a zero Z height. So on the floor. Then I go up and convert it to a hanging position. Still on the floor at zero Z height. Then I give it a Z of 18'. Ok. When I attach a light symbol to the hanging position - it defaults to 18'6". If I try to alter the Z height of the fixture back to 18', the fixture goes to a zero Z height again.
Do I have something set wrong?
Is there a way to have fixtures set their Z heights to the trusses Z height?
I am thinking that when Icreate the hanging position it sets the center of the truss to a zero Z height and not the bottom of the truss. But when I go to edit the hanging position - there is nothing there...
