JWMLD Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 I am trying to find a way in Vectorworks 2018 to perform a command from AutoCAD that I have been using. The end result is I would like a text block that shows the area of a selected object. In AutoCAD I choose MTEXT, and then I can insert Field, choose the object, insert the property (in this case area) and it creates a text object that automatically takes the area from the object selected. I have imported the file into Vectorworks and it comes in as a normal piece of text. Any suggestions? Jim 1 Quote Link to comment
