Peter van der Elst
I have a pdf containing some vector information. Is it possible to import this data in vw? I know with windows it's possible with gsview and so on... But isn't there a simple plugin for either VW or Acrobat (we have the full pro version). I tried copy and paste, but with no luck. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest
The PDF will have to be converted to an image in order for it to be imported. Of course, the data will not be capable of being manipulated. I saw a news bulletin somewhere - I think at Ten Links, that there is a PDF to vector converter. Quote Link to comment
Kaare Baekgaard
If you have Adobe Illustrator, it can translate the information. Quote Link to comment
J Parkin
Open in acrobat reader,, use mask tool to select area, press Ctrl + C con into vectorworks... Ctrl + V It will be a bitmap, & you will need to scale it, but its quick and easy. Quote Link to comment

Peter van der Elst
So I downloaded the free trial version of Illustrator. This works great, you can save as a DXF or DWG and import this. When I use the Command-C, Command-V option tho copy/paste. The drawing loses quality. Somehow some polyline points aren't copied. Quote Link to comment
