Can data be shared between worksheets in the same file?

I think I know the answer is "sort of". Can data be shared between worksheets in the same file? The only way I can see doing this is to copy the formula from one to the other Worksheet. I would like to be able to take the SUM from one Worksheet & use it in another worksheet. Is there some way to reference the data from the cell of one worksheet into another?

One worksheet can get the result from another. The code you need to use is:

=('worksheetname':cell)

so it might look like:

=('Bracing Demand':B32)

One small addition to Jonathan's answer.

 

This only applies to worksheet cells, not database cells.  

 

There is no direct  way to access the contents of a single database cell into a different cell, either in the same sheet of in a different sheet.
