Would it be true to say that an object's 3D attributes are not changeable in referenced viewports and that the Use Document Visibilities check box within the Viewport's class tab only applies to On/Off/Grey visibilities in 3D. 2D attributes seem to work fine with hatches, fill and line colour though. (Edit: I've narrowed t down to be largely an Open GL issue)
I've enclosed a couple of files that can be tinkered with to try and explain what I mean.
It would be great to know if I have done anything wrong.
