kd_archdesign Posted April 30, 2004 Share Posted April 30, 2004 I just received my copy of VW 11 and am very impressed. It seems to be rock sold on my duel G5. What I was most impressed with is how easy the transition seems to be going. No major interface changes, nothing seems to be missing, and things work as I expect:> I love the little tweaks: dash lines now draw correctly, trim and extend are much improved, you don?t have to hit the enter key to lock values in the data display bar, how dimensions can now go into ANY class,how groups go into the active class,the text formatting options in the IO palette? But the Viewport feature is by far the biggest improvement. As a long time ACAD users, NNA really got this one right. Compared to ACAD, VW viewports are much easier to use, and will have a dramatic positive effect on how I create my drawing sets as well as presentation boards. Great Job! Quote Link to comment
