0 Kevin McAllister
I would recommend placing the camera roughly in Top/Plan view and then clicking on "Fine Tune Camera View" in the OIP to refine it. This dialog gives you an interactive view of the camera and is much better than any other method of refinement. Kevin Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 23, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 23, 2017 I sometimes go the opposite way, and create my viewport from walkthrough, then edit the viewport's camera after the face, add a Renderworks Camera object anywhere, then Match the current view so that I can use the camera effects without having to reposition a camera object into a view I already like. Depth of Field can add a lot of realism to a shot, but is also good for blurring out details in the extreme foreground or background that 1) arent the focus of the scene and 2) might not be worth detailing heavily if they wont be the focus. Exposure is great to brighten or darken a particular scene without having to add/remove lights or mess with your renderworks styles that already work fine elsewhere in the same model.
