I know there is a find and modify tool in Spotlight for lighting instruments, but is there a tool for normal symbols? If not it would be nice to have a drop down menu just for symbols. I know there is a single replace symbol tool for one selected symbol. GeoffreyPlatt Posted April 2, 2004 Author Share Posted April 2, 2004 Hey Kristen, I figured out part of my problem. I had 421 symbols all looking the same with one group in the lot. So I ungrouped the group and replaced the symbols. It would be nice to have a find and modify symbol tool though! Thanks, Geoff Quote Link to comment
Kristen Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 It's not a single step tool, but it's just 2 steps: you can use Organize>Custom Selection 2 to find and select all instances of a symbol (as long as it's not inserted in a wall). You can then replace them all from the Object Info palette "replace" button. Quote Link to comment
