pallete positions

morning

i have saved a pallete positions on my desktop....mac....how do i get this to work everytime on a new file or drawing

i have looked in my workspace editor but just can't figure this out

on another point, if you have the saved palette positions and then change the position on the screen of a particular pallet  is there a way to reset them as they were

Are you still on VW 2016 (?) and SP3 (?) as your signature shows ?

 

Generally that works for me, I have my Palettes docked and they stay.

For me there were many glitches in VW 2016, little less in VW 2017.

(Palettes stay but overall APP Window size may fall back to previous

monitor setup aspect ratio and stay for opening of some files)

But even there sometimes things can go completely wrong and that may

need to recreate your custom workspace from scratch.

 

For the second question,

no, not that I am aware of.

I think in this case you should duplicate and adapt your custom workspace

and need to switch between these.

Which does not really work in real time.

thanks very much that explains a lot......v16 all up to date..........shame this does not work like photoshop when you can reset your palette positions to default.....or can you.....again thanks
