0 markdd
If you are working in a working plane other than the layer plane (which is the default), then toggling between these two buttons will affect how the menu to their right will relate. For instance if you are currently working on a working plane that you have defined yourself using the Set Working Plane tool then all the standard views will relate to that working plane as opposed to the built in Layer plane that is the default. If you return to TOP/PLAN then the plane that you just set with the Set Working Plane is removed and the buttons will do nothing different from each other because each is working from the same working plane (which is the active layer plane). If you want to save the working plane that you created earlier then you will need to set it again, and save it using MODIFY/Working plane/Save Working Plane. Then you will be able to chose which plane is your active working plane from the Plane dropdown menu a little further to the left in the toolbar. It all sounds a little convoluted, but once you get the hang of it its actually really simple. There is lots in the help section as well as a couple of videos on Youtube that explain the concept of Planes really well. Edited August 3, 2017 by markdd Quote Link to comment
