Unified View display?

barriescott

Question

I have a project with three floor levels. The Story elevations are set up (LL=-8’-8 ¼”, 1st Flr=0’0”, 2nd Flr=9’1 ¾”), w/ Design Layers set the same. When I invoke the Unified View in Top/Plan, all of the plans show up. When I change to 3D (say left isometric) only the active design layer switches to 3D. If I change the other layers to 3D they all show with the same bottom elevation, not stacked as they should be. What am I doing wrong?

If all of your layers don't move into a 3D view at the same time, Unified View is disabled. Under View > is "Unified View" checked or unchecked? What options do you have set in Unified View Options?

Keep in mind that if you had saved views and are toggling through them, Unified View can be turned on and off automatically by these.
