FabK
Anyone knows if there is a way to assign the same channel to a serie of lights when using the "numbering projector" function? I like to use the the mouse to select the next light but sometime, the next light has the same channel number. So instead of having to stop the numbering and reset the starting number to the last number used which is tedious, I would love if there was a short cut such as holding the option key or whatever that would stop the stepping to the next number and allow me to number several lights identical. Anyone knows of that is possible? Thanks and have a great day. Fabrice Quote Link to comment
markdd
Use the Autoplot Tools suite of plugins which have a really good Channel numbering function that allows you to "pause" at a number while you number sequentially. Quote Link to comment
FabK
Thanks Mark for the tip. I may do that even though I find it a bit sad that my high end program costing close to $4000 needs a fix from a shareware. Quote Link to comment

markdd
I didn't know that! I wondered if there was a modifier that would do that. Just never pressed the shift key. Makes sense when you think about it. Quote Link to comment

DCLD
Anytime Fabrice. BTW thanks for your comments on spotlights greatly needed improvements. I could not agree more! D Quote Link to comment
djobbins
Good to know. Another thing I use is to set the "increment' field in the number instrument tools to "0". This is good for when you are editing multiple attributes at the same time (if a bunch of LEDs are all on the same circuit, but have different addresses or channels, etc) Quote Link to comment
jj3
I highly recommend the Autoplot tool. It's cheap ($35 ? )and worth it. I had a demo of it at the design show. Admittedly somethings in it should be in the actual application, but it has a ton of things that you may not think of right away. Quote Link to comment
