CraftyCat
Does anyone know how to obtain the Free evaluation copy of VW without the watermark? When I downloaded a student version it had this watermark on all files. Quote Link to comment
VeryCrunchyTaco
Hiya! The educational version of Vectorworks does have watermarks, this is intentional to prevent people from making money off the free software. The Vectorworks trial (linked below) is a full professional version of Vectorworks, no watermarks. But, you only have it for 30 days, and it can only be used once. http://www.vectorworks.net/trial/form Keep in mind that any files that have a watermark in them will retain that watermark, even if you later open them in a professional version. Hope that helps! Quote Link to comment
barkest
The student version has always had a watermark quite rightly so. However if you are a student and you want to purchase a non-student version they you can get up to 30% off (certainly in the UK) and 'a number' of your student/watermarked projects will be converted as part of the cost. There is also the for sale board on these forums or you can start with the fundamentals version. In all honesty there are some pretty decent deals out there http://www.vectorworks.net/education/student2pro Quote Link to comment
