Exporting to a DWG/DXF File

GBarlow

Question

I've been trying to export a vectorworks 2017 file to a .dwg and the file size is coming out at 63mb.  This is far too big to simply export by email (yes, i know about dropbox). I tried deleting some of the drawing layers and sheet files within the drawing that wasn't required by the other person and exported this, and the file came exactly the same size.

Does anyone know the best way around this? The file size of my Vector2017 file is 32mb and the smaller reduced one (layers removed etc) was 12mb.

Thanks
