Class order in Nav Palette different from Command Right/Left Arrow

michaelk

Question

Pretty sure this is a bug.

I'm seeing the class names sort by alpha then numeric in the nav pallet, but when using Command-RIght Arrow and Command-Left Arrow the class names sort only alphabetically.

For example:  In the nav palette the classes look like

Class-1

Class-2

Class-3

.

.

Class-101

Like you would expect.

But when Class-1 is active and you hit Command-Right Arrow the order is

Class-1 > Class-10 > Class-100 > Class-101 > Class-11 > Class-12 …

If this is working as expected, I'd like to request that the Command-Right/Left Arrow order be made the be the same as the order in the Nav Palette.

Not sure if you are really using those numbers, but 1 could be 01, followed by 02, 03, etc. before hitting 10.

For example, I name all my drainage pipe classes with a D prefix, as in, D-04 pipe, D-06, D-08, D-10, D-12, etc. The D keeps them in some sort of order I expect (not sure where a number first class might show up) and the "0" before the 4 and 6 inch pipe keeps those classes in numeric order, as I want to see them.
