MeTheMachine
Is there a simple way to remove space between selected objects? For instance: 3 Objects Select them and perform action to get this result... Desired result I seem to remember doing this in the past but I can't remember if it was Vectorworks or not. Thanks for any help. Quote Link to comment
0 Benson Shaw
This is a really interesting question. Align tool can almost do it, but kludgy answer. Step 4 requires manual moves downward to get everything in the box and top object at top of box - only a few of the objects were outside the desired extents in this example, but about same as manually moving all objects. Step 5 sorts them all to zero space, but objects can reorder if Step 4 changes order of the tops of objects. Associated dimensions can sort of help. But lots of manual work there, too. Sounds like a job for Marionette! Or other? -B Quote Link to comment
0 bcd
sounds like a job for the new Collapse/Explode command in 2018 (just kidding!) Quote Link to comment
0 MeTheMachine
I could have sworn I've done this in the past, but maybe it was another program. Regardless, thank you for your detailed explanation. Quote Link to comment
