I am trying to import a 1.5 gb obj file to Vectorworks Fundamentals 2017 and I keep getting "Your System has run out of Application Memory". I have a new 15" MacBook Pro, 2.9 GHz with 16 GB of memory. Loads of memory, loads of space. When I go into the Activation Monitor, the CPU memory for VW goes up to 65 gb and then crashes. I have been told by Apple that I should try limiting VW memory to 16 gb and try again. Is there a way to limit the amount of memory allocated to VW. All suggestions greatly appreciated.
