Bruce Kieffer
The closest thing I can find is a set screw in the fasteners tool set. Is there another tool to do this? Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
Try the Shaft 3d tool from the Machine Components tool set. You might have to go back into the settings after you place the object and turn on the threads, but I think you can make it give you a threaded rod of whatever diameter and length you want/need. 0 Gytis
You could also give Marissa Farrell's Marionette object a spin. threaded rod Quote Link to comment

Thanks Pat. That works. It is a bit goofy to get the configuration set, and the threaded rod created really bogs down my computer. I will try making it a symbol. I will also try Marissa Farrell's Marionette object. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
You can use the check box in the OIP to hide the thread and only turn them on when you are ready to do a final output. As long as you know it is a threaded rod, the threads don't need to be seen all the time. 1 Quote Link to comment
