cthomas_denver
I imported a DWG file of an object(piece of entertainment trussing) and then converted it to an Auto Hybrid object. However, when I adjust the Z value, it disappears when in Top/Plan view. What did I do incorrectly? The other thing is that I'd love to be able to apply a fill color to the object when in 2D perspective. Tyler_GT_Truss.vwx Quote Link to comment
michaelk
In the OIP click on 2D Appearance… In the dialog box there are 3 tabs: Cut Plane, Below Cut Plane, and Above Cut Plane. By default the cut plane is 4' and objects above the cut plane are not shown. Click on the Above Cut Plane tab and check Display Extents above the Cut Plane. That should solve your first problem! To see color in 2D look at the options below in the same tab. You can choose a class to assign attributes to everything above the cut plane. Just create a class with the fill color and line weight you want, choose that class in the class pull down and check Use Class 2D attributes for the fill and pen. Quote Link to comment
