Peter van der Elst
Hello, I read somewhere that you could move a symboll that is inserted in a wall with the move command and that you can even duplicate it using the alt/ctrl key (Within VW 10.5). But when I tried this I found out that this doesn't work for me. Is it possible to move an inserted symbol in a wall with the move or nudge command? This would be very helpful and works much quicker than the position button in de OI palette. Maybe there is already an answer to this, but I could find it in these forums. Thanks in advance. Bmb@GMB
Yes there has been a reply to this before. With your selection tool on hit the shortcut key I(the wall insertion mode is turned off now) Now you can move this along the wall without dragging the symbol out . If you want to duplucate Hit I again and drag out of wall Then use the alt/ctrl key to place in another wall .Toggle with the wall insertion mode (I) Key if you must to reposition. Some others will probably have a better way Regards Brendan Quote Link to comment
Peter van der Elst
Thanks, but I already use this technique right now. I hoped there is a way to move a symbol without taking it out the wall and use the "simple" move command. I guess I'll have to wait for a newer version of VW (wishlist item!). Quote Link to comment
