Open GL tiled on 3D wall

Well, if it's a 3D render, there's no avoiding the Renderworks step.

You'll need to make Texture resources to place them on a 3D surface, image fills in 3D can cause problems like this. If you're ONLY going to be showing non-perspective elevations views however, it can often be simpler to reuse the same 2D image tile fill on the walls in the annotations of the viewport on simple polygons.
