Peter van der Elst Posted February 25, 2004 Share Posted February 25, 2004 Why is it not possible to give a class and a symbol (or texture) the same name? For instance, if a have a class named "2" I can't name a symbol or texture "2" as well. I think this is somewhat frustrating sometimes. A class and a symbol are two different elements in a drawing. Maybe there's a good explanation for this "feature". Maybe it's something for the wishlist (VW 11?) Thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted February 25, 2004 Share Posted February 25, 2004 Resources in the drawing include classes, layers, sheets, textures, symbols, records, hatches, image, gradient, VS, etc. None of these can have the same name based on the way VW handles resources by name.
