Bug Submit or Flag for Submission from Forum

I wish there was a way to flag a forum post for review and bug submission (other that overloading Jim). There have been a number of bug discussions here recently and I never know if they get submitted as bugs. Maybe its a moderator only method but it should exist. Here's an example - Example

 

I looked at trying to use the regular Bug Submit link but sometimes it just feels too involved, especially if something has been easily confirmed by a few posts in a forum thread. The forum thread with its visuals and comments can often say more than can easily be said in the submission form.

I think it's acceptable to reference the forum post when using the bugsubmit form. We will often do that internally when there are posts that are related to a bug we are submitting. It's always better for us, though, if any additional information is added that may not be so clear in the forum post.

I hope to dramatically increase (or "finally introduce", depending on your point of view) forum/bugsubmit/wishlist integration. It is on my list.

I hope this is still in the pipeline 🙂

My bug submission wishes are from quite a long time ago now....
