TArchit Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) Column objects are disappearing when I combine them into symbols. Why is this happening and is there any way to resolve it? Kevin McAllister Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 The Square Tubing PIO you're using as your columns is 3d only. It doesn't have a hybrid component to appear in Top/Plan view. Since your walls have both a 2d and 3d component VW makes your symbol into a hybrid automatically. Try using a different PIO such as the Column Tool or the new Structural Member tool. These objects have both an Architectural component and Structural component. You would only need the Structural component (which can use the steel shapes). Quote Link to comment
