michael john williams
I got myself a cheap VR headset [iTech VR] to try out web view on my mobile [Samsung Note 3]. The web view 3D model exports ok and can be seen on my pc screen and my phone but the image remains static. I can look around but I can not get the 360 deg walk through to work. I look down and focus the dot on the walk speeds - + and whilst the toggles spin nothing happens and there is no movement. What am I doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
Guest AndrewG
@michael john williamsDo you have a link to share? You might want to consider lowering the size of your model. Thanks! Andrew Quote Link to comment
michael john williams
Thank you for your reply. I also tried it on an Iphone 6 and had the same problem. Here's the link: https://vgx.vectorworks.net/export-m1496762526426j1496762526426w/WebGlTemplate.html Quote Link to comment
barkest
Hi Michael do you mean that with the viewer on you can look around but you can't walk? Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
I think it's an issue with the home position of the model. I was able to walk if I manually moved into the model and then switched to 360 mode. But I promptly walked out of the model and got stuck again. Mono mode on an iPhone 6. Kevin Quote Link to comment
Guest AndrewG
@michael john williamsSorry for the late response, but you want to position yourself on the model before going into 360 mode. First drag and drop from the eye cursor onto the model. You will then be placed on a surface. At this point, the 360 controls should work. Please check out the in-app help (press the eye, and then press help when you are in first person) for more assistance. Thanks! Andrew Quote Link to comment
