Peter van der Elst
When I export a rendering to an image (JPG) I get a big white area around my original view. The view is a perspective one. I know there used to be Quicktime issues in the past. I run VW 10.5.1 on an eMac 700Mhz with 512 MB Ram, OS X 10.3.2 and Quicktime 6.5. Any suggestions? Thanks [ 02-09-2004, 06:55 AM: Message edited by: Peter van der Elst ] Quote Link to comment
Guest
In the export dialog box, are you selecting as a marquee, current view, or all visible objects? Quote Link to comment
Peter van der Elst
I used All Visible Objects, but I'll try it with the other options. Thanks for the reply. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Try using the marquee. That will allow you to select the portion of the drawing you want to export and eliminate the white area. The white area is coming out because it's taking the visible objects out to their selection handles and exporting all of that. Say you only have half a floor shown in the view, the whole floor is going to export .. which will give you a large white area depending on the angle you are in. Current view may also be a good choice for you if you set your perspective to fill in the whole screen. Quote Link to comment
