Lambkin
I can't figure out how to eliminate lines around door openings when I do a render. I want the jamb to have the same tonality of the rest of the image, without lines. What am I doing wrong? See attachment: Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Luis M Ruiz Posted May 25, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 25, 2017 I think that door opening line may be in a class. Turn it off. Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
This is a long-standing issue related to doors and windows set to "Opening". https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/48066-uncased-openings-render-with-unwanted-solid-lines/ https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/44719-window-opening-puzzle/ https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/42988-doors-opening-only-rw-appearance/ And I'm sure more. The fix is to click the Settings button in the OIP, choose the Classes category, and put the "Interior Jamb" and "Exterior Jamb" classes on a class you turn off, such as NonPlot. Once you turn this class off in the Navigation Palette (or in your Viewport, if applicable) the white lines will go away. 1 Quote Link to comment
