TArchit
We have used the space tool to define areas within flat types. These flat types are then converted to symbols so they can be replicated around our plans. When they are outside the symbols the tags read fine however once in the symbols they change scale and are almost invisible. Is it possible to fix this? Quote Link to comment
JRA-Vectorworks-CAD
Hi Tom, Th problem is caused by having a Page based symbol (the space tag) within a world based symbol (the apartment symbols). One solution is to duplicate the space tag and Edit Symbol Options in the source browser, then change the space tag to world based. It will now go very small ( 1:1) so you need to scale it up by 50 or 100 times depending on your deisgn layer scale, reformat it, and then change the space tag to the new world based one. So in summary, as long as both space tag and apartment symbols are world based it will display normally.
