rlj13psu
I'm working on a puppet design and I used several subdivisions to create the thermoplastic pieces that attach to the frame of my puppet. Does anyone know of a way I can flatten these subdivisions (without changing their shape!) to create almost like a dress makers pattern for construction? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted May 21, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 21, 2017 Right now, the Vectorworks "Unfold Surfaces" command can do flattening only of simple (singly-curved) shapes. TouchCAD can do unfolding of complex shapes. (You'll probably have to convert your subdivs into other primitives before you export.) You can look here: http://www.touchcad.com/index.html Quote Link to comment
