Drawing Changes Not Visible Until Change of Zoom

We've noticed here in Alaska that Vectorworks 2017 SP3 has an issue related to the wall join tool as well as other tools in that one cannot view the changes made unless one zooms in or out and then the change shows up.  We've tried different setting in VW Preferences, but nothing seems to make a difference.  We are on the latest Mac Pros with the latest OS 10.12.4 with plenty of RAM.  Anyone else having this problem?

I have noticed that too.

 

Normally I think that's a typical case where :

VW Preferences > Display > Navigation Graphics :

needs to be set lower than "best performance"
