Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted May 12, 2017 Marionette Maven Share Posted May 12, 2017 Hey Alan, I'm not sure! The only thing I've noticed is that it only seems to do it with your negative integer values. I'll see if I can learn anything else. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Ok thanks, I am using negative numbers because i want to have wall as a fixed point and have the gutter end move in or out depending on the user input. And I want the gutter to be fixed height so when you change all the height dimensions the gutter attachment stays fixed. Thanks Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, Also is there a better way to do the option for choosing circular or rectangular downpipe. See attached. Thanks DP Tutorial_170512 Circ or Rect.vwx Edited May 12, 2017 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
AlanW
@MarissaF Hi, The large numbers only seem to appear when you add in the If network section. See attached design layer 10-final. wrap this one and you get the big numbers. Wrap design layer 05-EAP and all is good. Thanks Edited May 12, 2017 by Alan Woodwell Adding to file so deleted for a few minutes Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, Here is the final pending input from anyone. There are design layers for each step. I will follow up with a video tutorial in the next day or so. Hope this assist in learning Marionette. I have converted the DP object to an Autohybrid so it can be used in plan view so you don't have to create any 2d overlays. Double clik the dp autohybrid and you get to the marionette object, do the changes and exit out. I have 3 classes set up for the hybrid and to see how its all set up click 2D appearances an you can see all set by class and i have already ticked the "Save current setting s as defaults" so everytime you create a hybrid it will automatically assign these classes to the object. Remember the cut plane is set a height off the design layer you are on. (if you have an RL of 20.000 then yo need to take this into consideration. I hope to do one every week after I have a holiday so should start in about 6 weeks with them. Hi Below is the link to the video, (Not a Hyperlink) so copy and paste into browser to view. youtube.com/watch?v=HShcqQ_ZuPo&feature=youtu.be DP_Tutorial_170514.vwx Edited May 13, 2017 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
