0 zoomer Posted May 1, 2017 Share Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) The case is that you have to pull faces of MANY objects always by the same amount. In VW you have to input that same amount numerically every time again. In Microstation (each! related) tool had a check box to input a fixed number and lock to this distance. Similar to what you have in VW for a Tool like copy polygon boarders parallel at a certain distance. Also it always remembered the last distance used and provided it as a potential snapping point. That way you can use it without input again if you want or something else if not. Also in Microstation the cursor direction always gives the direction, if values are used negative or positive. So you can still pull faces of one part of your objects out, while pull others in, at that fixed amount. + Some other things like a lock to edit only objects already selected and a few other.
