sle7en7
I guess this would be a post leaned more towards a wishlist item but nevertheless I have some questions. One thing to clear out; it is not possible to have a curved slab modifier like a vaulted ceiling in a slab object, correct? At the same time the display of a solid subtraction in the same manner results in a triangular geometry as attached. Is this being caused by the fact that my OpenGL detail level is set to low or some other issue? Other curved geometries seem to be doing fine, even in "low" detail settings but this one became a mystery. Thanks for any help. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted April 21, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 21, 2017 When you set your OpenGL to High, it still looks like this? Or you're saying you've left it at low and havent turned that up? Curved subtractions from Slabs are intended to be possible and my test here worked as expected. Quote Link to comment
sle7en7
Ok I think that was a one time happening and I tested another slab object and yes when the settings are set to high detail level geometry looks smooth. I think we can remove this post. Sorry Jim. Quote Link to comment
