bcd
VW2017 SP3 Rotate Plan takes 5 or 6 seconds to activate in a blank file with one line after a restart. There was no perceptible delay in VW2016. Does anyone else see this? Edited April 21, 2017 by bcd Quote Link to comment

0 bcd
The delay appears the same irrespective of how long or how many files are open. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted April 21, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 21, 2017 Does the speed of rotate plans reponse change if you alter the Navigation Graphics setting in Tools > Options > Vectorworks Preferences > Display? Slower or faster on any of the 3 settings or does it remain the same? Quote Link to comment
0 bcd
The speed of rotation doesn't change with the various Navigation Graphics Preference settings. It's not the speed of rotation however that's the issue. It's the speed of activation of the command via the Rotate View button in the View Bar which is also independent of the Navigation Graphics preferences. It seems like a consistent 5.5 seconds from clicking the Rotate Plan button until the cursor changes from the selection arrow to the small + and the command is activated. Interestingly choosing the same command via View>Rotate Plan delivers the little + cursor immediately. Rotate Plan.mov Edited April 21, 2017 by bcd Quote Link to comment
