Return to viewport with Options.

Ok so only really one option I can think of to start the ball rolling is...

1) when you go to design space from a viewport, if you then adjust classes or layers it would be great if an extra button appeared to match those visibilities in the viewport on return.

I think this is a good suggestion, but I could imagine myself hitting the wrong button unintentionally.

 

I'd prefer this if it were an alert dialogue box that popped up after you click the usual 'Return to Viewport' button.

The alert dialogue could say something like:

 

           "Class and /or Layer Visibilities have been changed.

           Would you like to update the Viewport Class / Layer Visibilities?"

 

Then have option buttons for:

           No (default);

           Update Layers;

           Update Classes;

           Update Layers & Classes.

Yes that is better, as the keyboard shortcut would work to get back.
