jmartinarch
Why won't these two surfaces combine? Same layer, class, etc. I just changed the line color and thickness of one to differentiate one from the other. After selecting them I right-click select add surface and the inner surface disappears. The larger was created with the rectangle tool and the smaller faceted one with the 2d polygon tool. The OI palette says they are both polygons. Quote Link to comment
barkest
Do thy have a fill and are they both closed? Quote Link to comment
jmartinarch
They don't have a fill, but they are not closed. They must be closed I suspect. Thank you. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
Is this a trick question? :-) The result of your add surface should be the large rectangle (with the smaller shape in essence eliminated) right?? Edited April 11, 2017 by Wes Gardner Quote Link to comment
jmartinarch
LOL yes that is correct. When I try the smaller shape disappears. I'll start over and see if I can make it work. Quote Link to comment
jmartinarch
Clip. Clip the smaller shape not add it. Sorry for waisting your time. Quote Link to comment
