Clip Cube / Create section Viewport

Question

I would like a confirmation that it is possible to create a 'Section Viewport' from a Clip Cube using VW 2016 Fundamental.

At the moment when I right clip onto the selected face of the Clip Cube, it doesn't show 'Create section Viewport' at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
Also the the VW 2016 Fundamental I'm currently using doesn't feature  View > Create Section Viewport

- Is this feature exclusive to the Architect version? Thank you in advance for your help.

Fundamentals doesn't include the Section Viewport capability.  It is only available in the Industry versions - Architect, Landmark and Spotlight.

I have the same question, Thibaut, glad you posted this one.
Thank you, Mike. I am using VW Fundamentals 2013 and it has clip cube. Without the section viewport capability,  how can I save the clip cube image to a viewport?

You can't.

All you can do is use the Cut 2D and Cut 3D commands in the Model menu.  These produce static versions of the model when the command was used.  They do not update with later model changes.

Thanks, that's where I ended up and it's not really bad at all. Although having the clip cube option without a section viewport would definitely make the updates easier.
