Save File problem

Hello all,

 

I have a issue to save VW file under a  folder with Folder name in Mandarin.

 

It is a blank file, IF I choose save as then select a folder which name is in Mandarin,  it does not work and a warning pops out， please see attachment。  

 

It works if folder name is in english. 

 

MAC is my OS , Any ideas?

This is due to the lack of full Unicode support, so currently the Chinese localization version of Vectorworks can handle Mandarin within a filename just fine, but the English or German versions will often have problems. This will be corrected soon but I know of no way around it in the meantime other than renaming the folder path as you described.
