How to create a degree symbol in Landmark 2017 on a windows machine

I am using Landmark 2017 on a windows machine.  How do I create a degree symbol for using in text?

If I remember correctly it's:

 

ALT 0 (i.e. the alt key and the zero not an OH)

Hi I usually type 0 then right click and make it superscript.

hold down alt and type 0176 on the numeric keypad

when you release the alt key you should see the degree sign

I keep forgetting it is the numeric keyboard you have to use when using Alt function.  Thanks.

Recently I heard that special characters by number input does not work on Mac.

Is just the Num Block needed ?

Here's the Mac keyboard with the ALT key depressed. Other Modifier keys switch it up more, for ex; the Fn key changes the delete key to forward-delete.
